Slate Breaker: FD NFL DFS Week 11

Quarterbacks

Play of the Day: Kyler Murray, Cardinals (@ Texans)

Murray looked like he was fully healthy last week and a healthy Murray should never be cheaper than $8K. Murray is basically a lock for 15+ with a strong chance of topping 20. He plays a Texans defense who is not very good against the pass and he should be able to rack up a lot of passing yards. The Texans have allowed big passing days to QBs like Derek Carr, Desmond Ridder and Baker Mayfield so expect Kyler to have a big passing day which when paired with his strong rushing line will result in a very strong fantasy day. 25+ FD points is a real possibility this week.

Obvious Plays: Josh Allen, Bills (vs Jets) & Justin Herbert, Chargers (@ Packers)

Solid Plays: Justin Fields, Bears (@ Lions) & Jordan Love, Packers (vs Chargers)

Justin Fields is back and he gets a team that he dominated on the ground last year. Across their two matchups last year, Fields rushed for a total of 279 rushing yards. Fields is returning from a hand injury so expect him to be even more reliant on his feet in his first game back from the injury. The Lions defense is much better than it was last year so I would not expect Fields to easily rush for 130+ yards again this year, but Fields has also improved as a passer so he should still be productive against this fortified defense. Normally, I am fully out on Jordan Love, but this week is different. The Chargers always find themselves in high scoring games which should lead to plenty of production for Love. Besides matchups against AOC, Bagent and the Jets; the Chargers have allowed every QB they have faced to accumulate 250+ total yards and score multiple TDs so Love will deliver a strong day as this could be the Packers best offensive game of the season.

Other Plays: Sam Howell, Commanders (vs Giants) & Brock Purdy, 49ers (vs Buccaneers)

Fade of the Day: Baker Mayfield, Buccaneers (@ 49ers)

Baker is coming off a very productive month as he is averaging 19.2 FD points over his last 4 games but that streak of production will surely come to an end this week. He gets a revamped 49ers defense that will wreak havoc upon this Buccaneers O line. Baker will be lucky if he tops 10 FD points this week so you should not have him anywhere near any of your lineups.

Other Fades: Geno Smith, Seahawks (@ Rams) & Bryce Young, Panthers (vs Cowboys)

Bust Alert: Dak Prescott, Cowboys (@ Panthers)

Prescott has been the best fantasy QB over the past month or so averaging 30.3 FD points over his last 4 games. This matchup may be too easy for this Cowboys offense leading them to coast and Dak to have a lackluster game. The Panthers have a nonexistent run defense so basically everyone of their opponents just run the ball over and over which has led this Panthers defense to only allow 2 QBs to top 17 FD points this year. Now the Cowboys have struggled to run the ball with any consistency so they may have to rely on Dak which will lead to a productive game for him, but if the Cowboys are able to establish their running game then Dak will not deliver good value this week.

Running Backs

Play of the Day: Austin Ekeler, Chargers (@ Packers)

After a couple of lackluster games following his return from an injury, Ekeler has been rounding into form scoring 19+ FD points in 3 straight games. He is back to his usual elite usage with 7+ targets each game and a boatload of goal line work so you can pencil him in for right about 20 FD points. He gets a Packers team that has been bad against RBs especially on the edges so Ekeler should have a very strong fantasy day this week.

Obvious Plays: Christian McCaffrey, 49ers (vs Buccaneers); Travis Etienne, Jaguars (vs Titans) & Lions RBs (vs Bears)

Solid Plays: Dolphins RBs (vs Raiders); Josh Jacobs, Raiders (@ Dolphins) & Darrell Henderson Jr., Rams (vs Seahawks)

De'Von Achane is back and you need to play him. Achane scored at least 21 FD points in every game he played as a fully integrated piece of this offense. There is no other home run threat that compares to Achane he glides through the slightest holes and finds open field. He gets a Raiders team who has allowed the 3rd most rushing yards this year. Even with Achane as a play, backfield mate Raheem Mostert is also a viable play as he will still get the majority of the work. You really cannot go wrong with these Dolphins RBs against this weak Raider front. Josh Jacobs warrants consideration based on his usage alone. Under the Raiders new regime, this Raiders offense is the Josh Jacobs show. He has an insane 55 touches over their past 2 games. With that kind of usage, Jacobs does not need to be efficient to deliver great value. It will be interesting to see what his usage looks like if this game turns into a blowout, that could mean a lot of passing work for him or it could mean he falls out of the offense completely so there is some risk here. Let's enjoy Henderson's last week of fantasy viability. With Matt Stafford back in the lineup, this Rams offense will be fully functional again leading to a productive day for Henderson. He is involved as both a runner and pass catcher so if this offense is productive he will be a great play at just $6,100.

Other Plays: Brian Robinson Jr., Commanders (vs Giants); Tony Pollard, Cowboys (@ Panthers) & James Conner, Cardinals (@ Texans)

Fade of the Day: Najee Harris, Steelers (@ Browns)

After a streak of some productive games, expect Najee to take a step back this week. He plays a tough Browns defense and he is losing time to Jaylen Warren. Warren will be heavily relied upon this week as the only way the Steelers RBs will succeed against the Browns defense is through the passing game which is Warren's expertise. There are far better option than Najee this week.

Other Fades: James Cook, Bills (vs Jets) & Chuba Hubbard, Panthers (vs Cowboys)

Bust Alert: Kenneth Walker, Seahawks (@ Rams)

Kenneth Walker has been a TD machine this year with 7 TDs already this year, but his usage has been fading. Walker has now been out snapped in 3 straight games by rookie Zach Charbonnet so Walker no longer has the usage necessary to provide a viable floor. His prowess for finding the endzone does still make him a viable option, but if he fails to score a TD, he will leave you disappointed.

Wide Receivers

Plays of the Day: Cooper Kupp, Rams (vs Seahawks)

With Matt Stafford back, this Rams offense will be humming again and it will be going through this guy. Kupp has had some disappointing games this year, but he will produce against this Seahawks team. The Rams basically need to win out to reach the playoffs so with them already in win now mode expect them to hone in on their best offensive player and feature him. If you throw out Kupp's rookie year when he was still getting acquainted in the offense, Kupp has averaged 15 FD points against the Seahawks in his career and a lot of those games were before Kupp was the featured act in this offense. The Seahawks have been a poor coverage team this year so I expect Kupp to push 20 FD points this week.

Obvious Plays: Tyreek Hill, Dolphins (vs Raiders); CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys (@ Panthers); Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions (vs Bears) & Stefon Diggs, Bills (vs Jets)

Solid Plays: Texans WRs (vs Cardinals); Seahawks WRs (@ Rams) & Rondale Moore, Cardinals (@ Texans)

These Texans WRs have been so good lately that you know you need at least one in your lineup. There is another injury to this WR corps so the targets should be even further consolidated. Nico Collins and Tank Dell are both studs and I guarantee at least one of them is scoring 20+ this week. Tank Dell has looked like the alpha in this lineup, but a lot of that work came with Collins limited or out. I still prefer Collins since he should be the top target, but either one of these guys could go bananas. DK Metcalf looks about ready to take off with 9+ targets in 3 of his last 4 games. Geno Smith has been holding him back, but he should be able to beat this Rams secondary. Metcalf has thrived against this Rams secondary with multiple 20+ FD point games over the past couple seasons so he should be able to find similar success this year. Jaxson Smith-Njigba continues to take on a bigger role in this offense with nearly 6 targets per game and 50+ yards per game over his last 5 games. JSN is a good play as long as his price remains under $6K. How is Rondale Moore still under $5K? He is a much different player with Kyler as his QB as the two share an advanced rapport. Moore saw 8+ targets in 4 of his 6 games with Kyler last year and continued that trend last week when he garnered 8 targets. Moore averaged 9 FD points with Kyler as his QB last year so he can deliver great value at $4,900.

Other Plays: Amari Cooper, Browns (vs Steelers); Garrett Wilson, Jets (@ Bills); Christian Kirk, Jaguars (vs Titans); Terry McLaurin, Commanders (vs Giants) & Christian Watson, Packers (vs Chargers)

Fade of the Day: Gabe Davis, Bills (vs Jets)

There will not be a lot of production to go around for this Bills offense this week. Now Davis usually thrives when Stefon Diggs gets a tough matchup against a corner like Sauce Gardner, but DJ Reed is on the other side of this Jets defense and he is nothing to mess with. Davis has no floor in this offense and you are asking a lot of him to produce against this tough Jets defense.

Other Fades: Calvin Ridley, Jaguars (vs Titans) & Brandin Cooks, Texans (@ Panthers)

Bust Alert: Davante Adams, Raiders (@ Dolphins)

With a combination of AOC as his QB and Jalen Ramsey shadowing him, Davante Adams just does not look good this week. Of course he will get a ton of usage, but I just do not see the Raiders offense having much success against the Dolphins D unless it is a complete blowout, but Adams will be out of the game at that point.

Tight Ends

Play of the Day: Trey McBride, Cardinals (@ Texans)

McBride is getting Kelce-like usage. He has 8+ catches and 95+ yards in 2 of his last 3 games as the Card's top tight end and the one game he failed to deliver is because Clayton Tune was his QB. With Murray as his QB, McBride will remain a top option at TE as long as Zach Ertz is out. He is in a plus matchup this week with the Texans allowing the 2nd most FD points to TEs this year. Expect great things from McBride.

Obvious Plays: George Kittle, 49ers (vs Buccaneers) & Dalton Schultz, Texans (vs Cardinals)

Solid Plays: Dalton Kincaid, Bills (vs Jets) & Donald Parham Jr., Chargers (@ Packers)

How can you not play Kincaid right now? He has become the #2 target in this offense and is averaging 8 targets and 68 yards per game over his last 4 games. The Jets are a good defense, but Kincaid will still be productive. Parham will be the only viable TE in this offense with Gerald Everett out. In the game that Everett missed earlier this season, Parham finished with a solid 12.3 FD points so he should deliver solid value on this cheap price especially with his redzone abilities.

Other Plays: Cole Kmet, Bears (@ Lions) & Luke Musgrave, Packers (vs Chargers)

Fade of the Day: Evan Engram, Jaguars (vs Titans)

Engram has been a usage monster garnering 7+ targets in 8 straight games, but he is not getting any work down the field or in the redzone. Even while averaging more than 6 catches per game, Engram has only topped 70 yards twice all season and is yet to find the endzone. He gets a tough Titans defense who is allowing the 2nd fewest FD points to TEs this year and is yet to allow a TE to score this season. There are far better options than Engram this week.

Other Fades: Tyler Higbee, Rams (vs Seahawks) & Cade Otton, Buccaneers (@ 49ers)

Bust Alert: David Njoku, Browns (vs Steelers)

Njoku has been a great fantasy TE recently, but can we really expect him to provide any kind of consistency with DTR as his QB. He will make a nice safety blanket for the young QB, but until I see this offense function I will avoid Njoku and all other pass catchers besides Amari Cooper.

Defenses

Play of the Day: 49ers D/ST (vs Buccaneers)

This revamped 49ers defense is still far too cheap, but this will be the last week you can get them for anything less than $4,500. This Buccaneers O line has struggled with injuries so expect this 49ers defensive front to wreak havoc all game long.

Other Plays: Cowboys D/ST (@ Panthers); Bills D/ST (vs Jets); Commanders D/ST (vs Giants); Dolphins D/ST (vs Raiders); Steelers (@ Browns) & Jets D/ST (@ Bills)

Dream Team

QB: Kyler Murray, Cardinals (@ Texans)

RB1: Austin Ekeler, Chargers (@ Packers)

RB2: Darrell Henderson Jr., Rams (vs Seahawks)

WR1: Cooper Kupp, Rams (vs Seahawks)

WR2: Nico Collins, Texans (vs Cardinals)

WR3: Rondale Moore, Cardinals (@ Texans)

TE: Trey McBride, Cardinals (@ Texans)

Flex: DK Metcalf, Seahawks (@ Rams)

D/ST: 49ers (vs Buccaneers)
