Game Picks Western Kentucky @ Sam Houston State The battle for 2nd place in conference USA will be a good one. Western Kentucky brings their air raid offense to match up against Sam Houston's top flight rushing attack. Sam Houston's early season success has been a huge surprise after winning just three games a year ago. I still am not completely sold and think a program with an established system like Western Kentucky should be able to handle the surprise upstarts but I have been burned by Sam Houston multiple times this season. Florida International @ Texas El Paso UTEP is winless and playing uninspired football with an average deficit of nearly 19 points. FIU's season is nothing to write home about either, but I still have far more confidence in FIU than UTEP right now. FIU should win this game with ease.
